Advance Care Planning: Planning for your future health or personal care with an Advance Directive
Episode 159: Advance Care Planning: Planning for your future health or personal care with an Advance Directive. You may think Advanced Care Planning is only for the very old or very sick, but that is just a myth. Advance Care Planning is for anyone over the age of 18. Accidents happen, pandemics happen, and illness happens at any age and does not discriminate. Advance Care Planning should be an ongoing conversation throughout your life as your health, needs, and perspective change. Doing the Advanced Care Planning when you are well and able means you can rest easy later knowing your wishes have been heard and will be honored when the time comes. Licensed Clinical Social Worker Lana Lipe discusses how Advance Care Planning can be a gift for our dignity and our loved ones.
