As kidney patients, we all hope to find that one secret that everyone in the world seemed to overlook - that one secret that will help improve our kidney function and increase our GFR. I see people try all sorts of things - from extremely odd diets to eating baking soda by the spoonful - all for the random chance of improving. The Internet is also full of so many kidney fixes, flushes, and “who knows what” in a pill – created by people praying on our illness and taking our hard-earned money. I found something that isn't random chance - it's real and I have the labs & increased GFR to prove it!

In November of 2018 I left the hospital with the devastating news that I had kidney failure. My GFR was 13 and stable. I put together an amazing health care team and started changing my diet and lifestyle – doing everything I could to try and improve my kidney health and increase my kidney function.

Things went well, my GFR improved. My BUN lowered. I eventually improved enough to beat Anemia and get my energy back. Over the next 10 months or so I just kept improving. Then in late 2019 I hit a wall. I was stable but holding. You all know me – that was not acceptable.

One of my doctors had recommended I use Kibow Biotech's Renadyl, a probiotic and prebiotic dietary supplement designed specifically for those of us with serious kidney illness. Probiotics are live beneficial bacteria and yeasts that are good for you, especially your digestive system or "gut health". Probiotics are often called "helpful" or "good" bacteria because they help keep your body working the way it should.

While probiotics can be helpful, they are not all are the same. And Renadyl from Kibow Biotech is certainly not your everyday probiotic. Renadyl helps in the removal of Toxins and Nitrogenous wastes from the body. I’m talking about toxins like urea, uric acid, and excess creatinine. Renadyl has been shown to metabolize (consume) these toxins, making it easier for the body to eliminate them as waste products. With consistent use, this process helps maintain kidney function by removing some of the burden placed on your kidneys.

In other words, these good bacteria are going to see the bad stuff in you as food and gobble some of it up. Then you’re going to make a visit to your executive reading room and flush it away, reducing the burden on your kidneys. It’s that simple!

It is important to take Renadyl daily for 90 days to receive its full benefits. So I went online and purchased enough for 4 months. I then had a call with Kibow Biotech, the makers or Renadyl. Kibow Biotech shares a lot of the same passion I have with helping people live with kidney disease. Their CEO sent me some bottles of Kibow Fortis, a prebiotic fiber, that I could take daily with meals in place of using Benefiber.

On Oct 14, 2019 I got a fresh set of labs and then started taking Renadyl and Kibow Fortis daily for a total of 90 days. I had allowed myself to become relaxed with my diet over the holiday season - I enjoyed sugary treats, Yogurt, and even a few Ribeye steaks. It was not the best time to be putting Renadyl to the test, but I made sure to take it daily and never missed a day. I had no side effects, outside of being a little gassy in the beginning as my body got used to the changes.

On January 15, 2020 I got new labs. The results were nothing short of shocking. Remember, this was all while not being strict with my diet. And I’ll be honest, when the results came across my phone I nearly cried. My BUN was down from 42 to 28 - just 3 points above normal! My Creatinine was down from 2.52 to 2.25! This boosted my GFR by 4 points. Remember that wall I hit – I broke through it!

The results I have seen in my own labs are just amazing - and it aligns with the published results Kibow Biotech has seen from clinical test. I believe Renadyl should be part of your treatment strategy to reverse kidney disease.
